Our solution
LIGHTO
A ceiling light that recognises a fall and alerts a caregiver within seconds, with a privacy-preserving clip they can check before they respond.
One fixture on the ceiling reads the whole room.
Inside what looks like an ordinary ceiling light, a scanning depth sensor reads posture across the room. Scroll to see what it adds.
The room
What LIGHTO sees
Actual coverage depends on ceiling height, room layout and installation position.
-
Overhead
Mounted centrally, not in a corner
One fixture covers the room a wall sensor would have to guess at.
-
Wide area
Wide-area room coverage
Continuous scanning helps reduce blind spots caused by furniture and room layout.

A fall, and a clip to check
A caregiver is alerted within seconds, with a privacy-preserving depth clip of what happened.
Check the clip before anyone rushes over.
False alarms are what make carers stop trusting a monitoring system. Every LIGHTO alert comes with a privacy-preserving depth clip, so a caregiver can see what happened in seconds and respond to the falls that are real.
How to read the footage
White frame
Scanning the room. No one is being tracked.
Green frame
A person is tracked, labelled with the posture the AI recognises, such as standing, sitting or lying, and its confidence.
Red frame
A fall is recognised and an alert is raised.
It installs like the light already on your ceiling.
LIGHTO fits the existing ceiling point with a single bracket. No wall devices, no exposed wiring and no wall outlet, and the room keeps its light.
Start at the existing ceiling point
The fitting the room already has is the fitting LIGHTO uses.
Attach the mounting bracket
One bracket, no drilling into walls and no cable runs.
Twist and secure the device
The room has its light back, and a sensor it cannot see working.
E27
Works with standard E27 light bulbs, so the resident chooses the light.
Use the light bulb you prefer.
LIGHTO takes standard E27 light bulbs, so you choose the size, colour and brightness, including LED, instead of being locked into a proprietary light source.
Privacy and dignity, preserved.
LIGHTO uses depth sensing, not conventional cameras, and asks nothing of the person it protects. That is why monitoring lasts in a home instead of being switched off after a fortnight.
No conventional cameras
No conventional video or directly identifiable imagery is collected. Privacy-preserving depth data is used for detection and alert verification.
Nothing to wear
No pendant or wristband to charge, and nothing to remember to put back on.
Life as usual
Residents keep their routines and their ceiling light. LIGHTO works quietly overhead.
