What we offer
Our solutions
LASSO supports hospitals and nursing homes. LIGHTO extends that protection into the home. Both use privacy-preserving depth sensing instead of conventional camera monitoring.
Built for two different rooms, on the same idea.
A hospital ward and a one-bedroom flat do not share a floor plan, a budget or a staffing model. So SoundEye built two different systems rather than force one into both.
LASSO rolls to whichever bed needs it. LIGHTO mounts to the ceiling of a home. Both read the room with depth sensing. The hardware changes. The commitment underneath it does not.
The principle
Safety without surveillance. Every SoundEye system detects a fall without collecting imagery that could directly identify the person it protects.
Two systems, one for each side of care.
Explore either one, or use the comparison below to see exactly what changes between them.
LASSO
Bed-exit and fall-risk detection that rolls to whichever bed needs it, and knows when to stay quiet.
- Depth imaging sensors, not conventional cameras
- 98% accuracy for bed-exit and fall detection in clinical trial settings
- Deployed across Singapore and Japan
LIGHTO
A ceiling light with depth sensing built in, so a senior living alone can get help sooner.
- Wide-area room coverage from one ceiling fixture
- Installs like a ceiling light and takes standard E27 light bulbs
- Development funded by a DBS Foundation Grant
How to choose
LASSO or LIGHTO. It depends on where care happens.
Both systems detect falls with depth sensing instead of conventional camera monitoring. What changes is the environment each one is built to run in.
| Consideration | LASSO | LIGHTO |
|---|---|---|
| Built for | Hospitals and nursing homes | Private homes and independent living |
| How it senses the room | Depth imaging sensors | Scanning depth sensor in a ceiling light |
| Coverage | One bed at a time, redeployed as needed | Wide-area room coverage, depending on ceiling height and layout |
| Mounting | U-shaped mobile base, or wall and ceiling | Fixed ceiling mount, standard E27 light bulbs |
| Alerts | Alerts to caregivers within seconds | Alerts to caregivers within seconds |
| Where it stands today | Deployed across hospitals and nursing homes in Singapore and Japan | Development funded by a DBS Foundation Grant, awarded in 2025 |
Who we serve.
Four kinds of places, a system built for each, and no conventional camera monitoring in any of them.
Private homes
LIGHTO covers the home of a senior living independently, installed like the ceiling light already there.
Assisted living
LIGHTO gives every resident's room wide-area coverage without a single change to daily routines.
Nursing homes
LASSO or LIGHTO, deployed at the bedside or overhead, depending on how the facility is run.
Hospitals
LASSO rolls to whichever ward bed needs monitoring tonight, then moves on to the next one.
